Audrey M. Miller

August 5, 1948 ~ June 15, 2019 (age 70)

Audrey M. Miller, age 70, formerly of Gowen, passed away Saturday evening, June 15, 2019 at home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice.  The daughter of John H. & Madeline Bertha (Horton) Leiter, she was born on August 5, 1948 in Ionia. 

On October 11, 1963, she married Earnest F. Miller, Sr. and together they enjoyed over 55 years of marriage and raised five children.  Audrey also worked outside the home at the A&W in Ionia, the Gibson Air Conditioner plant in Belding, and McDonald's in Greenville, but her greatest delight was found in taking care of her family.  She was a long-time member of Shiloh Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents;  a brother, Glen Arthur "Sam" Leiter;  her step-mother, Loretta Faye Leiter;  and a daughter-in-law, Carolyn A. Miller. 

Surviving are her husband, Earnest F. Miller, Sr.;  their children, Earnest F. "Ernie" Miller, Jr., Linda Miller, Brian & Mariana Miller, Christina Miller, and Andrea & John Judge;  an "adopted" son, Mike & Nickie Turley;  her grandchildren, Angie & Shawn Roberts, Jay Helmes & Leah, Rod & April Miller, Tiffany & Dana Tompkins,  Ryan Linebaugh & Jessy, Kerina & Joshua Juarez, Briana Miller, Mitchell Miller, and Charles Judge;  eight great-grandchildren;  a brother, Phil & Nancy Leiter;  a sister, Cora & Valentine Garcia;  special cousins, Sharon Hunter and Mary Leiter;  and many other beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation is from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Shiloh Community Church, 8197 Heth Street, Orleans, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.  Pastor Ken Harger of Shiloh Community Church will officiate and a luncheon will follow the ceremony.  Private committal services, officiated by family friend, Pastor Rodger Moore, will be held at Little Denmark Cemetery in Gowen. 

Instead of flowers, Audrey would have appreciated contributions in her memory to either Spectrum Health Hospice or to the Spectrum Health Foundation-United Hospital.  Envelopes will be available at the church.
